Pegasus the Arts
Where Creativity Soars...
Pegasus the Arts is a non-profit creative arts program for adults with disabilities. Through the arts we aim to foster self-expression, instill confidence and develop both social and service skills designed for a rewarding vocational and community life.
Program Goals:
      • Through instructor-client and client-client interactions; reinforce and develop cognitive, physical and social skills
        •  To involve clients in community outreach opportunities both within and outside our program
        •  Offer opportunities to practice vocational skills that lead to employment
          • Attain and reinforce independent living skills essential for community life

In Greek mythology, Pegasus, the winged horse struck the ground with
his hoof and the Fountain of Muses burst forth.
From these fountain waters came poetic inspiration.
At Pegasus the Arts, we strive to guide with creative inspiration, offering dignity and hope into the future.
Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words, and never stops at all...
          ~Emily Dickinson
